About me and My Company:
My Career: I began in the Mortgage industry in November of 2005, shortly after a terribly stressful experience with the loan officer that provided financing for our first home. We were left in the dark feeling stress, anxiety and negative emotions no newlywed couple should feel. My wife and I were very anxious to move forward but the loan officer was experiencing communication breakdown. (My affectionate term for being verbally non responsive) shortly after this purchase, I decided to make a career change and join the mortgage industry. My only goal was to help people through consistent communication and information … Exactly the opposite of what we experienced.
I would be lying if I said that being a successful loan officer is easy. The first few years was a grind, putting systems in place, investing in the tools my clients love and deserve, finding the right Company that pairs the INDUSTRY’s fastest turn times with competitive rates and costs and above all else locating people to help! But it was all worth the wait, now I get to share my hard earned success and knowledge with more people then I could have imagined! Thank you all for that opportunity to live in one of my dreams.
About Me: I was born in Beaverton Oregon, but moved to Livermore California when I was 2 years old. Soon after our move my single mom met a man who would be come my adopted father. Dad and Mom provided us with a privileged life, no financial restraints, and I was constantly surrounded by friends and family who I love. For as long as I can remember, our home was open to everyone. A sort of refuge for friends with less fortunate circumstance. It was like the Blindside but without the adoption. I like to live my life believing in the good of people and I’m sure this is because of these lessons my parents taught me about life and respect.
While on a Camping trip with some friends I met the woman of my dreams and was lucky enough to be the man of hers. 18 months later Lisa and I were married. In my heart I always felt like I belonged in Oregon and fortunately, she agreed to our move. We arrived in Oregon September 2006 and have since then fallen in love with Portland’s community and unique style. I am a very proud Husband and Father. Carson, my son was born just 3 miles from where I was born.
I enjoy spending time with my Lisa and son, cooking, going to the park on sunny days, watching TV (Dexter, Lost, 24, Weeds and House are just some of my favorites) As an individual I LOVE golf and welcome each and every chance I get to play. Part time I coach the Banks HS golf team. Unfortunately I am not able to get as involved as I would like, but I do what I can with the time I have.
It is my job as a father to provide my Family with the financial security they deserve. I will not have my son’s options or life experience limited by my shortcomings as a business man. He deserves the same choices I had growing up and I will continue to improve EVERY aspect of my services in an effort to attain this goal.
